Coconut Medium is a much coarser product when compared to Coconut Fine. It can still be incorporated into doughs or cake mixtures to give a coconut flavour but will also add a more gritty texture. This product is more akin to the topping that is applied to coconut cakes. It can be lightly toasted to alter its appearance but it browns quickly which can lead to it tasting bitter or burned and so must be done carefully.
