Mixed peel contains orange and lemon which has been diced to approximately 3mm cubes in size. It comes in a glucose syrup to try and keep it moist and has a chewy consistency. A popular additive to cakes and baking, it can give a great deal of flavour and, because of its initial texture, does not disappear when cooked. If incorporating this product it is worth drying it as otherwise you will not get an even distribution around your bake.
Ingredients: Orange, Glucose fructose Syrup, Lemon, Citric Acid, Sugar, Sorbate, Sulphur Dioxide (E220).
Allergy Advice: This product contains Sulphur Dioxide. May contain traces of Peanuts and other nuts
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place preferably in an air tight container once opened.
