    Walnut paste is manufactured by running the raw material through an industrial machine. It is differentiated from butters as it contains no added products or preservatives. The consistency of the product can vary as a result of this as some walnuts naturally contain a higher percentage of oil within them leading to a more viscous paste. This product should be incorporated into recipes rather than eaten directly as it has a distinct bitter taste. It is commonly used to create sauces for meals or to add flavour to baked items such as breads or confectionery.

    Stir before use as some separation of oil will occur.
