Pecan Halves look remarkably similar to Walnut Halves but differ in a variety of ways. The taste of pecans is more sweet and they are normally a light brown colour. They are used plentifully in baking, the obvious example being the traditional Pecan Pie where these nuts are used in abundance to both flavour and decorate the finished product. Due to their taste and texture they are also a terrific choice for a snack.
