The roasted option of the Flaked Hazelnut. This nut is fantastically fragile due to the desiccating that occurs during the roasting process. The roasting of the nut however intensifies the hazelnut taste and adds a distinctive darker tinge to the flesh of the nut. It can be used in much the same way as an ordinary Flaked Hazelnut, as a decorative topping or an incorporated recipe item.
